Organic certification is a guarantee that the food was grown without any synthetic inputs including fertilizers, pesticides, and additives. It also prohibits the use of any GMOs and has standards for crop rotation and cover cropping that benefit soil life and local ecological landscape.
If you see farms on our website that are not certified organic it does not mean they don't also follow these practices. We prohibit GMOs across the board in the food we carry and only carry products that were grown using sustainable and ecological growing practices. For specifics on how each farm produces their food, click on the farms name and visit their website!
